Certificate Program Format
Integrated & Relevant
The graduate certificate option allows participants to pursue a 12-hour program of study, comprised of four existing core or elective courses from the EGOM program. Certificate program participants will also complete a project designed to integrate course concepts with a job-related application. This is independent of the three-credit-hour final project required for M.S. candidates. Certificate projects do not require a faculty advisor, although participants may consult with faculty as needed.
At least one of the four courses must be taken on campus during a three-week summer session and the remaining three may be completed either on campus or through distance learning via Web-based courses. Students enrolled in the graduate certificate option can also take advantage of the seminars, workshops and participant interaction associated with the on-campus experience.
